Straight Kelly forceps, 6 inches, stainless steel, with locking ratchet handles. A standard clamping instrument for first aid kits, emergency response bags and site kits — measured at 6 in from ring to tip.
What it is
A locking hemostat in the straight Kelly pattern: box joint, serrated jaws over the forward portion, and a ratchet at the handle that holds the clamp closed without being held. Stainless steel throughout, so it can be cleaned and returned to the kit rather than discarded after use.
Where it fits in a kit
- Clamping and holding during dressing changes
- Gripping and withdrawing small objects such as splinters or debris
- Holding gauze, tubing or small parts where fingers are too large or too clumsy
- General utility clamping in a response bag, where the lock frees a hand
Pack sizes
Sold singly, and in 2, 5 and 10 packs. The multipacks exist for kit builders: a first aid programme seeding twenty kits buys packs, not singles, and the per-unit price drops as the pack grows.

What it is not
These are general-purpose instruments for first aid and utility use. They are not sold as sterile, and they are not a surgical-grade instrument for clinical procedures. Clean and disinfect before and after use according to your own program's protocol.
