Unlike chlorine or bleach-based treatments that degrade within months and require repeated re-dosing, H2O ResQ is designed to remain effective in storage environments for up to five years, reducing rotation burden and maintenance cycles.

How It Works

Municipal or filtered drinking water typically enters storage in a clean state. Over time, however, biofilm forms on container surfaces, allowing microorganisms to re-establish even in sealed systems.

H2O ResQ uses a low-concentration, food-grade copper and silver system to inhibit biofilm formation, helping stored water remain at its original purified condition throughout the storage period—without the rapid breakdown associated with chlorine-based treatments.

Controls Biological Growth in Stored Water

H2O ResQ is formulated to control biological growth associated with long-term water storage, including:

• Bacterial growth related to storage conditions

• Algae formation

• Fungal and biofilm development

This product preserves clean water; it does not disinfect unsafe water sources.

Application Instructions

• 4 drops per gallon, or

• 10 mL per 55-gallon drum (approx. 1/3 oz)

• Apply at the same time water is added to the container
