This lantern puts out 800 lumens — enough to light a room, not just the patch in front of you — and runs 96 hours straight on high. Drop it to low and a single set of batteries gives you 240 hours. That's ten days.
It's built for the weather that causes outages: a water-resistant thermoplastic and rubber housing, and an easy-grip handle for carrying in the dark. A strobe mode is there for when you need to be seen rather than to see.
Takes 6 D-cell batteries, which are not included — worth adding a set to your order so the lantern is ready the day it arrives.
